The Brussels Tour starts in Amsterdam’s city center. From there you’ll travel to Brussels by bus, and an expert guide will provide fun and informative information about the sights along the way. The Belgium Tour continues on to Brussels, the French- and Dutch-speaking capital. There will be a photo stop at the Atomium, an iconic futuristic building that was originally built for the World Fair in 1958 and is now a major tourist attraction. The Belgium Tour continues on to see the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Royal Palace, and the Congress Column, with its famous ‘Tomb of the Unknown Soldier’. After this, there will be a guided walk through the historic city center, where you’ll visit the beautiful central square (‘Grand Place’) and the iconic statue Mannekepis. Along the way, you will get a demonstration by a chocolatier and get the change to taste some famous Belgian chocolate. At the end of the Belgium Tour, there will also be time for you to explore on your own, do some shopping and try the famous chocolate and waffles.
