Giethoorn is the little Venice of Holland, enjoy this region village water and be enchanted by all the little bridges and pointers (several open flat-bottomed boats). The beautiful landscape is characterized by the many houses built on islands. These houses are therefore only accessible by a bridge. These bridges are also all owned by the residents. To get a good picture of Dutch Venice, we encourage you to explore this remarkable village by boat.
We drive directly from Amsterdam to Giethoorn, this is 120 km from Amsterdam and wil take 1.5 hours drive.
