Marken is in the north of the Netherlands The former fishing village is a beautiful attraction, the colorful costumes also contributed to this . The drawbridges and the beautiful wooden houses on stilts are characteristic.

From the busy Amsterdam, we drive through the countryside to the picturesque village of Marken. Along the way you will already have a good idea how the people live in rural areas. Marken is located 30 km from Amsterdam and 35 km from the airport. The journey time is around 35 minutes and 35 minutes back.
